In just a few hours, the biggest Minecraft event of the year MINECON will begin. The entire Mojang team has been on top of the event for the past several days, and Tobian Mollstam has reported that as of six hours ago over 100 guests have checked into various hotels for the event. The biggest news right now is that Gamespot will be responsible for streaming both days of the event. It’s unclear why Gamespot was chosen by Mojang to be the single company streaming the event, but Gamespot has live streamed E3 int he past. Minecon will start in just a few hours, and we will be covering all of it as it happens.
